Each morning, LUXURY & PREMIERE participants enjoyed breakfast complete with blockbuster Keynote Presentations by motivational speakers from The Harrison Group, W Magazine and Hill Management Consulting and Training. Here is a synopsis of that the speakers had to say:
Dr. Jim Taylor, Vice Chairman of The Harrison Group, one of the country’s most respected marketing and branding firms provided jewelry retailers with insight on how the economy will affect their businesses in the coming year. View Jim Taylor’s Presentation.
John Clarkin, National Sales Director of W Magazine, presented consumer research on “Connecting with the Luxury Consumer.” Clarkin revealed that, “Two percent of US households, represent 28% of income in the country,” making a strong point that the US Luxury Market is fairly insulated from the current downturn in the economy. Andrea Hill of Hill Management Consulting and Training presented “Differentiation Blueprint: Using Strategy and Brand as Tools to Set Your Business Apart.” She discussed branding and strategy and how they must be aligned as the guiding light for a company.
