LAS VEGAS, NV, May 27, 2008 – LUXURY & PREMIERE opened to a beautiful Welcome Reception Monday night poolside at the Venetian Hotel Resort Casino. Hundreds of the industry’s finest retailers and manufacturers gathered for an evening filled with networking with new and old friends and colleagues. The opening Welcome Reception was sponsored by PREMIERE.

The Salon Collections, which are home to many of the industry’s finest companies, are located in the beautiful ballroom settings on two floors of the Venetian Hotel Resort Casino. The Salons boast the most upscale exhibiting environment that mirrors many of the illustrious brands that participate in LUXURY & PREMIERE. The Salons will open at 10:00 am and retailers will find the newest styles from 220 companies showcasing the most brilliant jewels from dramatic necklaces to preppy pearls and colored stones. The all-salon event offers a first-class ambience for serious purchasing.

On Tuesday, the keynote speaker, Dr. Jim Taylor, Vice Chairman of The Harrison Group, one of the country’s most respected marketing and branding firms will provide retailers with the latest trends. Following breakfast and Dr. Taylor’s presentation, retailers will visit the Salons, which stay open until 7:00 pm, where the most elite brands will be featured under one roof. During the afternoon, retailers will be hosted to a gourmet luncheon as well as an afternoon snack of Haagen Dazs Ice Cream, sponsored by Veranda Magazine, and Cigar Rolling and Scotch Tasting, sponsored by Inside Weddings Magazine.
The Evening Celebration will begin with cocktails followed by dinner and special entertainment featuring Comedian Dana Carvey, sponsored by JCK Magazine. Following, all access badge holders are invited to the Late Night Lounge at the 40/40 Club in the new Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.

On Friday, May 30th, JCK Las Vegas will open at the Sands Expo & Convention Center/Venetian Hotel Resort Casino.
