LUXURY BY JCK/PREMIERE ENDS ON A POSITIVE NOTE

Exhibitors and Retailers Gear Up for Opening of JCK Show ~ Las Vegas


LAS VEGAS, NV, June 1, 2007
LUXURY by JCK/PREMIERE closed after a very exciting three days, where attendance of high-end retailers nearly doubled from previous years. The retailers and manufacturers networked and conducted business, making the 8th annual LUXURY by JCK and 1st annual PREMIERE events extremely successful as reported by all who participated.

David Abuloff, Vice President, Jewels by Star and PREMIERE exhibitor said, “We had a fantastic Show, it was well organized and well executed in a comfortable and inviting environment. We had 100% appointment turnout, which made PREMIERE a successful event for our company.”

David Spivak, Owner of Charles Wolf Couture and a LUXURY exhibitor said, “The LUXURY team did a great job getting the right retailers and venue to run this event. The combination between PREMIERE and LUXURY was a good mix. Their target market and ours were the same and there was a lot of synergy. Because there were so many more exhibitors we all benefited from having more retailers.”

Jimmy Green, President of Jimmy Green’s in San Antonio, Texas said, “Each year we attend every major trade show and in my opinion the LUXURY/PREMIERE event was the best show in the country. It was wonderful that the best designers came together, in a beautiful venue and they truly pampered the buyers. This was the one show that benefits everyone in the industry where partnerships are built and relationships developed,” Green added.

The final day of the show began with an inspirational talk by Bryan Dodge who addressed retailers and manufacturers and inspired them to enhance their own human potential and personal greatness for the benefit of their overall growth both professionally and personally. He redefined JCK saying, “The J is to join the team – align yourself with strong people; the C is for change – the market continues to change, so change with it; and the K is for knowledge, and continue to educate yourself and your staff.” At the end of the day, the American Gem Society hosted a closing reception where both manufacturers and retailers enjoyed cocktails and prepared for the start of the 16th annual JCK Show ~ Las Vegas. Most of the exhibitors are also participating in the Luxury Collection and PRESTIGE Promenade Pavilions that are prominent areas at JCK.

In 2008, the 9th Annual LUXURY by JCK and the 2nd Annual PREMIERE by Prestige Promenade will take place Tuesday, May 27 – Thursday May 29, 2008 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas.

The 16th Annual JCK Show ~ Las Vegas opened this morning with a wonderful keynote speech by the lovely Suzanne Somers who addressed a standing room only crowd at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Suzanne spoke about her successful career after Three Is Company, and the development of her own lines of jewelry and selling them via the Internet. She talked about her interested in hormone replacement in connection to revitalizing aging people to encourage their business success. “She was delightfully engaging with the audience and did a great job knowing her audience, and talked directly on how to sell the jewelry that she is involved with,” commented an attendee in the audience. “She also strongly encouraged retailers to give permission to women to buy jewelry, as they are purchasing more and more for themselves.” It was a terrific way to kick off the first day at the newly expanded JCK Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
